We are looking for a highly driven sales representative in Calgary Metropolitan Region (Alberta). The Asset Integrity Software Sales Representative will have a strong understanding of the software sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Objective of this role:
- Represent the Antea’s AIM/RBI/RCM solutions, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
- Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Responsibilities:
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business.
- Maintain a well-organized schedule to ensure timely follow-ups, customer appointments, and meetings with potential clients. Efficiently prioritize tasks to maximize productivity.
- Strategically design a plan to effectively manage the territory to maximize incoming revenue and profits to meet annual quota objectives.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding the needs and anticipating them in advance.
- Gain access and build relationships with key executives and decision makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing team, and software development team, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
- Provide simple training and basic support to customers post-sales.
- Generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback for management review.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, networking events, and other regional sales and marketing events.
- Oversee the regional sales budget to ensure cost-effective sales operations.
Skills & qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of software sales experience (Experience in the Asset Integrity Management is required)
- Proficiency with sales management software salesforce and CRM would be a strong asset
- Experience with prospecting targeted accounts and list building
- Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic sales plans and successfully meeting targets
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Customers-oriented mindset

- Naturally think on your feet in a conversation and can answer unexpected questions with ease
