What is digital twin? A digital twin is a dynamic virtual replica of a physical asset. In Antea Core, it bidirectionally links live sensor data from the asset including laser mapping, intelligent P&IDs, intelligent PFDs, maps, geographical data, point cloud data – and overlays it onto a 3D model of the asset.

Operators can then examine and monitor live readings from any asset – be it temperature, pressure, flow, etc. – right within the digital twin.

This makes it possible to perform processes and workflows within the digital twin environment, requiring fewer resources on site for improved safety, increased efficiency, and faster access to intelligence.

It also enables you to simulate maintenance planning before conducting it on the physical asset in order to identify any gaps.
