It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of Antea’s co-founders, Domenico Salvà. Domenico’s innovative vision, passion, and unwavering commitment laid the foundation of our company and have played a pivotal role in both the journey of Antea and the evolution of this industry as a whole.
He was the man whose insights drove the company to enter the market with cautious, but disruptive ideas. In our market, no one had ever thought of using 3D modeling to benefit plant operators, not just plant designers. This innovative approach to creating context through visualizations remains our strength today, even after 3 decades. Without it, we wouldn’t have been able to distinguish ourselves from our competitors and provide the value that we have for our customers.
Domenico leaves behind a legacy marked by these kinds of innovation, a relentless pursuit of excellence, and one of warmth and kindness with which he blessed all who were lucky enough to know him along the way. In the coming days we will share more tributes that reflect on the invaluable contributions of Domenico — “Nico” as he was lovingly known. For now, we mourn his loss and celebrate the perpetual mark he leaves on our organization.
